The person who sells the work is the person who does the work
There is no account manager translating your requirements into a brief, and no handoff where your “but what about mobile” quietly disappears between departments. You email me. I build it.
Who you would be working with
Superuser is one person, not a team. That is the whole pitch, and it is worth being precise about why it is better for you rather than cheaper for me.
Superuser builds and maintains the website that a local service business relies on to be found on Google and turn those searches into booked jobs.
Superuser is for owner-operated service businesses — plumbers, dentists, landscapers, cleaners, electricians. Plumbers, dentists, landscapers, cleaners, electricians — businesses where the website is how the next job gets booked, and where nobody has time to become a marketing department.
Why one person beats a team here
There is no account manager translating your requirements into a brief, and no handoff where your “but what about mobile” quietly disappears between departments. You email me. I build it.
A one-person business has exactly one calendar, which is why the 2, 4 and 6-week timelines are real rather than aspirational. It is also why the go-quiet clause exists: if you are the blocker for 10 business days the timeline pauses and your start date releases. You keep the deposit and I do not hold a slot hostage.
A new agency has no legacy clients to keep happy and no reputation to defend, so there is nothing to cut corners on and nobody to disappoint but you. That is also why the balance is due on launch rather than up front, and why you can leave any month and take the source code.
The person who decides whether a feature is in scope is the person who would build it. Nothing gets escalated because there is nowhere above to escalate to.
And here is what you do not get
A one-person agency has real limits, and you should hear them from me rather than discover them in month three. I would rather lose the project now than run it badly for a year.
A solo agency has no second team to absorb an overrun, either. When a project runs long it comes straight out of my ability to sell the next thing and out of the care plans of the clients who already paid. That is the real reason the next section is as blunt as it is.
The question everyone asks
I am not going to tell you 30 days, because anyone who does is either lying or about to sell you something else. Here is what a local search actually takes:
I do not guarantee rankings, and you should not pay anyone who does. What I can guarantee is narrower and real: the technical foundation will be correct, the listing will be properly set up, and you will get a report every month showing what moved and what did not — including the months when nothing did.
And the one thing that moves the needle fastest is not something I sell: asking your customers for reviews. It is free, it is the strongest local ranking signal there is, and it belongs to you.
How scope is handled
If it is on the list, it is included and I build it without a conversation. If it is not on the list, it is a change order and it gets priced in writing. That is the entire rule, and it has an obvious corollary:the fastest way to get more work done for free is to give me a complete list up front.
Half the projects I have priced in my head went over not because the client was greedy, but because nobody wrote down what “a website” meant before we started. So we spend the first call agreeing on the list. That call is free, and it is the cheapest insurance in this entire document.
So you know what to expect rather than dreading it.
“That’s not in the current scope. I can add it for $X, and it’ll push launch by Y days. Want it?”
“If it’s important enough to prioritize, I can take it out of something else. Which?”
“That one’s free — it’s a bug in what I built.”
The last one is unconditional. If something does not work as promised, I fix it and I do not invoice it. No arguing about whether it counts.
The commercial terms
You should know these before the first call, not after the first invoice. If any of them is a problem, it is much better to find out now.
Working together
The same six steps on every project, at every price. The full version is on the case studies page, because the process is the most honest thing I can show you until there is client work to show.
I look at what you have now and tell you what I actually think you need — including “less than you think”. If I think you do not need what you are asking for, I will say so on this call.
Named pages, named price, named timeline. No hourly surprises, and no scope that is still being worked out while you are waiting.
The balance is due on launch day, before the site goes live. No financing and no payment plans — I would rather you have the cash conversation with me than with a lender.
A screen-share call using your own content, recorded and sent to you, plus a guide for the parts you will need without me.
Thirty days of post-launch fixes at no charge. If something does not work as promised it is a bug in what I built, and that is unconditional — I fix it and I do not invoice it.
Month-to-month. Leave any month with 30 days’ notice and take your domain, your content, and your site’s source code with you. No exit fee.
Straight with you
The risk of hiring us is not that we cannot do the work. It is that we are new. So here is how to make being wrong about us cheap.
This is the demo. Pull it apart in a browser, view the source, open it on a five-year-old phone and try to break it. It is built to be inspected, not admired.
Every package names every page and every feature in the price. If something is not on the list, it is a change order with a written price — so you can check the claim rather than take it on trust.
Fixed price, balance due on launch rather than up front, cancel any month, and take the source code with you if you leave. A business with a reputation to protect does not offer these. A business with nothing to protect can.
Twenty minutes, free, and you will leave with an opinion even if you never hire me. If I think you need less than you came here to buy, that is what the call is for.
