Who runs this site

Superuser is a one-person web agency registered in Nigeria. There is no company directory, no marketing department and no third party running this site on anyone’s behalf.

Enquiries, requests to see or delete your data, and complaints all go to one address: [email protected]. It reaches the person who does the work.

What the contact form collects

Only what you type into it, and only the fields below:

• business name
• your name
• email
• phone (only if you fill it in)
• what you need
• budget range (only if you fill it in)

Why we ask for it

To answer you. That is the entire purpose of the form. The business name and what you need are what let me decide whether Superuser is the right shop and to quote accurately; the email is where the reply goes.

The optional fields are genuinely optional. If you leave the phone number or the budget range blank, that is a complete enquiry and you will get a complete answer.

Nothing you send is used for advertising, sold, passed to an ad platform, or added to a mailing list. There is no newsletter, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from and no follow-up sequence if the answer is no.

Where it goes, technically

The form posts to a small function on the same site. That function checks the submission is not spam and then forwards it to the inbox above as an email. It is not written to a database, because there is no database here to write it to.

Two companies handle the message on our instructions, both as processors. Cloudflare hosts this site and runs the function, so it handles the form submission in the course of doing that. Resend delivers the email and handles the message in order to send it. Neither of them may use your enquiry for anything of its own, and neither is given anything beyond what sending the message requires.

The enquiry is not forwarded anywhere else, and it is not visible to any other visitor of this site.

How spam is kept out

The form contains a field that is hidden from people and visible to automated fillers. Anything that fills it in is dropped without being read. The server also rejects submissions that are empty, that arrive implausibly fast, or that contain links — all things a person typing an enquiry does not do.

Submissions rejected as spam are not stored at all, so there is nothing to delete later and nothing that a spammer can tell you we hold.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

None. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or social pixels, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from anyone else’s server. Opening any page here makes no request to a third party at all.

That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: there is nothing to consent to, and no banner, because a banner for tracking that does not happen would itself be a lie.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for 12 months from the last message, then deleted. That is longer than a single project needs and is a deliberate choice: it covers a slow decision without keeping a record of someone’s business indefinitely. If you hire us, the project records are kept for as long as Nigerian tax and accounting rules require, and the exact period is stated in your proposal rather than guessed at here.

Our email provider keeps its own backups, which can take up to a further 30 days to age out after deletion. Beyond that, an enquiry no longer exists in any form we can reach. If you would like a shorter period than 12 months, say so in your first reply and we will treat that as your instruction instead.

Who else can see it

Nobody, with two exceptions worth naming. The hosting and email providers above can see the message in transit because that is how it reaches the inbox. And a competent legal authority can require disclosure, in which case we would tell you unless we were legally prevented from doing so.

No sale, no advertising audience, no data broker, no enrichment service. If your enquiry is turned into a project, it stays inside the relationship between us unless you ask for it to go somewhere else.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email [email protected] and say which. There is no portal and no form to fill in, because there is one person and one inbox.

We answer within 2 business days, the same promise the contact page makes, and in any event within whatever longer period the law gives you if that is longer. We will not charge you, and we will not ask why you are asking.

You can also ask us to stop contacting you, and we will. There is no marketing list to be removed from, because there is no marketing list.

How it is protected

The form is served over an encrypted connection, the code that handles it is in version control and reviewable, and no credentials are stored in that code — the delivery key is configured in the hosting dashboard instead, where it is not committed to a repository.

This is a small site with a small surface. It is worth being precise rather than reassuring: the realistic risk here is someone submitting a spam form, which the checks above catch, not someone extracting a database of clients, because there is no such database.

Children

This site is a business service. Most of the people who use it run a business, and anyone is welcome to ask a question. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

The date at the top of the page is the date of the last change. If a change materially affects what we do with your data, the address above is how you will be told.
